Copyright & Licensing

Ownership, author permissions, and reuse of published material.

Copyright ownership

Copyright ownership arrangements: To be announced. Submission through this website does not itself transfer copyright.

Author rights

Author archiving, sharing, and reuse permissions will be specified in the publication agreement before authors are asked to accept it.

Journal rights

The rights necessary for publication, distribution, preservation, and correction will be set out in a written agreement.

Licence

Publication licence: To be announced. IJMES does not currently claim that articles are licensed under a particular Creative Commons licence.

Reuse permissions

Check the licence and rights statement on each published article. Where reuse is not covered by an applicable licence or exception, obtain permission from the rights holder.

Third-party materials

Authors should identify third-party figures, tables, instruments, and other protected material and provide permission information where required.

How to submit a complaint

Use the editorial contact form and choose Copyright / ethics. Identify the affected article or manuscript and the material in question. Official email and postal contact details will be announced.

Required evidence

Provide your name, contact details, relationship to the rights holder, a link or citation to the original work, the specific disputed material, and a clear explanation. Include permission records or other supporting information where available.

Editorial review

A complaint should be acknowledged, assessed on its evidence, and shared with relevant parties as necessary to seek a response. Confidential information should be handled carefully. Submission of a complaint does not by itself establish infringement.

Possible corrective actions

Depending on the findings, a response may include clarification, permission documentation, correction, replacement or removal of affected material, or a linked editorial notice. Final action should be proportionate and documented.

Follow-up

Keep the enquiry reference and relevant article or manuscript ID. Further evidence or an appeal can be submitted through the same contact channel.
